FujiFilm Collaboration
What deeper story are you trying to show the world and how will it impact other image makers?
We are influenced by what we see.
There is more to life. More to experience. More to understand. More compassion to find, and more to discover.
This is possible by engaging in the unknown and facing insecurities. I tell stories through video and still imagery with the intent to motivate people to embark on journey’s of self-discovery and invite adventure into their lives. Through the telling of stories about people who have overcome physical or mental obstacles to achieve the “unattainable,” my goals is to inspire other image-makers to cultivate their own authentic creative voice and tell stories about what inspires them.
How will a collaboration with Fujifilm positively impact the photographic?
My intent with a collaboration with Fujifilm is to not only inspire photographers, but also videographers and independent film makers to find ways to view the world differently. To get out more. Tell engaging stories and pause to appreciate the important moments.
Why are you interested in collaborating with Fujifilm?
I grew up shooting Fujichrome Velvia 50 film. There is something unique about the way a film camera feels and the way an image derived from film looks. When I pick up a Fujifilm camera, the love of photography and nostalgia floods back into my body. I feel more of a connection to the camera and subject I’m interacting with. That love of image-making translates into the image. I want to collaborate with Fujfilm so that I can help bring that joy to more people, and inspire them to film and photograph their surroundings.
Documentary work
Gillian Lindt - Blind skier
I produced, filmed and edited a documentary about blind skiers. Some were born without sight, others lost their vision later in life. Each of them found their way to the ski slopes, and now pursue skiing as a sport of fun, competition, and adventure.
This a short segment of that documentary featuring one of the skiers, Gillian Lindt.
For the future, I plan on continuing to showcase extraordinary people that have overcome major obstacles - to help inspire others to get out, face their fears, and pursue their goals.
English Channel Crossing by 68 year old Don Riddington
I produced, filmed and edited this short documentary of Don crossings the English Channel. He was 68 at the time.
The English Channel is the swimmers' equivalent of climbing Mount Everest. Both have a rich history. Many attempts fall short, a small percentage reach their mark, but all who take the step are winners, since they are motivated to accomplish the extraordinary, requiring enormous commitment and sacrifices in pursuit of their challenge.

*This video at the top of the Webpage is a version of a promotional ad I created for the X100V earlier this year. It was done in collaboration with a local camera store and a Fujifilm sales rep. It was used as pre-roll advertising on Youtube as well as local TV spot. This is my version, which does not include the camera store logo.
